Once the text is in theĬlipboard, closing and re-opening REAPER's about box will cause REAPER to look for the license key again.
YouĬan do this by running Notepad or TextEdit, and pasting the license key text into it. Jury is out on that because I can't compare your response with the proper instruction. If those instructions are are vague and unclear as your response then they aren't much good. If I'd had an email and licence maybe I wouldn't have read it, but if I had AND the email spelled out clearly what the Op has to do then, I think I'd have clarified that they needed the email and to follow the steps set out within it.
I would'n't what to find such a problem when I purchase the licence so read the thread to see what gave. So I was interested to read that somebody had a problem re-installing. I tested reaper briefly in 2009 when I registered and have not touched it since then until this year. Sarcasm sadly doesn't help, neither did you point out, perhaps at the risk of being more sarcastic that the instruction is in the email with the licence code.Īs I have yet to purchase a licence I couldn't help. How would you (if at all) help the op without any info, just nagging?
Especially when it is described in the mail.
